Michelle Chamuel Announces First Single Go Down Singing Set To Hit November 19!
The bespectacled songstress, Michelle Chamuel, who wowed TV audiences nationwide and sang her way into America’s hearts on season 4 of NBC's The Voice is thrilled to be sharing her first single as Michelle Chamuel, “Go Down Singing”. Set to hit via iTunes on November 19th, fans will be able to stream the single on the 18th via Entertainment Weekly’s PopWatch.
Making music since the wee age of four, Michelle’s passion has taken her through different projects and genres, from the eclectic rock band she fronted for 5 years, Ella Riot, to her electronic production alter-ego, The Reverb Junkie, and of course, the passionate pop music she makes as Michelle Chamuel.
While on The Voice, Michelle's songs were consistently in the top 20 on the iTunes single charts and her fan base and their love for her work has only grown stronger since the show's season finale in June. When The Voice wrapped, Michelle immediately went to work finishing her first full-length album as The Reverb Junkie; “All I Want” was released in September and climbed the charts finding itself in the #1 spot on the iTunes EDM charts as well as #6 on the Billboard EDM Charts between Zedd and Calvin Harris.
“Go Down Singing” is a collaboration with the acclaimed up and coming production team, Tyler Duncan & Theo Katzman, Ella Riot bandmates and friends of Michelle, who approached her to demo the track before realizing that it was, without a doubt, made for her. As a team they set off to create something magical, and they’ve succeeded. The single is the perfect showcase of soaring vocals wrapped in sublime strings and echoing drumbeats. It’s a spellbinding first taste of what’s to come from Michelle.
