Mia Moretti has been profiled in the New York Times ("The New Club Kids," Sunday Style Section) and has garnered a Billboard Dance Top 10 for her remix work (including tracks for dance-floor divas Katy Perry, Robyn and Rye Rye). More recently she has toured the US as one-half of the DJ+violin duo The Dolls; last summer, the duo released their single "Summer of '93. Their follow up single "Southern Swing" features New Orleans very own The Original Pinettes, the only all female brass band. Together, the Dolls have curated musical performances inside both The Louvre and The Guggenheim museums, opened for Diana Ross, Janet Jackson and Stevie Wonder, toured the US with Eve and Mika and garnered accolades from the Wall Street Journal, Teen Vogue, Elle and Billboard Magazine, who called their musical debut a "Nostalgic, moody, and gorgeously crafted indie-pop tune." Mia continues to be an industry leader whether she's DJing a high-profile fashion function, leading a crowd at a premier club, or touring the globe with The Dolls.
